The Center for Writers and Translators, the MA in Cultural Translation, and Creative Writing in the Department of Comparative Literature at AUP invite you to join us at a talk by award-winning author Deborah Levy, entitled “Translating Identities.” Levy will read from her recently published collection of stories, Black Vodka, and speak with the Center’s Daniel Medin about the place of translation in her reading and writing.
Deborah Levy is a novelist, playwright, and poet. Her plays have been performed by the Royal Shakespeare Company, her most recent novel was shortlisted for the Man Booker prize.
The event will be held at 18h30 on Tuesday, 24 September at The Grand Salon (31 Avenue Bosquet, 75007 Paris). Members of the public are welcome.
