Dear Translators and Editors, As the leading literary journal published in Houston, the city recently named the most diverse in the United States, Gulf Coast: A Journal of Literature and Fine Arts always sought to represent the myriad voices of the region in our journal. Please know that we welcome submissions of translated fiction, literary nonfiction, and poetry, especially work translated from languages read and spoken widely in the Gulf region: Spanish; Vietnamese; Hindi; Bengali; Chinese; Tagalog; Korean; Portuguese; French and Spanish-based creole languages?.

Please do not email any submissions as attachments. We also hope you’ll share this call for literary translations with your colleagues and students!
