This Tuesday, the Center for Writers and Translators at AUP launches the latest cahier, by George Craig, who is the translator, for the CUP edition of Samuel Beckett’s correspondence, of the letters that he wrote in French. In this cahier, Craig writes – and on Tuesday he will talk – about the peculiar situation of a translator, putting into English the words of a writer who famously translated his own writing from French to English.

See the website of the Center for details of the cahier series.

As always with these events, everybody is very welcome, and wine will be served.
