While she was at AUP as a Comparative Literature student, Caroline Wright (’05) was inspired to turn a life-long interest and passion for food into a professional culinary pursuit. Caroline attended the La Varenne culinary program with Anne Willan in Burgundy, and worked in a Michelin-starred restaurant under one of France’s few acclaimed female chefs, Reine Sammut. Since moving back to the United States, Caroline has written and styled recipes for a variety of editorial publications and national commercial brands. When Caroline isn’t creating recipes for magazines and other projects, she writes a food blog called “The Wright Recipes” that features original, seasonal and fun recipes from her home kitchen in Brooklyn.
