Harriet Lye, visting student in the department, and editor of Her Royal Majesty, announces the launch of the latest editon of the journal:

Her Royal Majesty, quarterly literary arts magazine, is delighted to announce the launch of its 10th issue (a triple-issue in both French and English) on Thursday, March 24th. To celebrate this launch, we are pleased to invite you to a special exhibition at Galerie Iconoclastes in Paris. The issue and the exhibition both focus on the theme of Landscape and, for the show, four artists – Rosy Lamb, Mia Funk, Assaf Shoshan and Oliver Beer – have interpreted the theme in ways ranging from physical to emotional, architectural to ephemeral.

We invite you to join us at the vernissage where, in addition to exploring the visual and aural landscapes on display, there will be readings from the review, a live concert by Swedish folk-jazz musician Emma Klara with her band The Flowershop, and a champagne reception. The show will continue to Sunday the 27th of March.

For those unable to attend the exhibition, issues will be available for purchase online as of the 25th of March. The magazine is printed in colour on loose-leaf pages, encouraging readers to interact with the text and hang the visual work themselves, and enclosed in a personalized slip-cover with a piece of original art. Issue 10 of Her Royal Majesty costs €26 plus shipping and handling. Please email halifaxroyalmajesty [at] gmail.com to place your order; we accept Paypal and cheques.
